Race4MS Team Members are responsible for the following.

To be part of this great opportunity, participants will be required to contribute a minimum donation either personally or via pledges through their personal pledge page.  This year’s fundraising minimum for each participant is $7,500.

Participants are also responsible for a registration fee of $250 (this fee will be collected at the time of registration).  The following fundraising schedule is a guideline for action.  We strongly recommend that you set intermediate fundraising goals.  The full fundraising amount is due 10 days before the race on August 20th, 2009.

Participants must become a member in good standing with their provincial triathlon governing body.

Participants must sign a waiver releasing the Race4MS Program and the MS Society of Canada of any liability associated with participating in endurance sports (this waiver is included in your welcome package).

In the event that a participant drops out of the Race4MS Program he/she are still committed to $2,500 of the $7,500 total fundraising minimum.  This amount (less funds already accumulated) will be charged to the participant’s credit card.  So, if you had raised $2,000, your cancellation fee would be $500.  You would also forfeit your Ironman Canada spot. 

Participants are responsible for their own travel and accomodations during Ironman Canada and the Subaru Vancouver International Half Iron (if you chose to participate in this event).
